STATEMENT OF THE

TOWN BOARD

CALLING FOR A SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

(Minn. Stat. 365.52, subd.l)

We, the undersigned town supervisors and the town clerk of Lura Township, Faribault County, Minnesota, do hereby declare that the interests of the town require a special town meeting to be held because:

The Minnesota Statues require particular business of the meeting to be approved to the Electors of the town.

The particular business to be transacted at the meeting is as follows:

The vacation of a road pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 164.06 and 164.07, which was reverted to the town by Faribault County pursuant to Minnesota Statute 163.11. The road is located in the Southwest Quarter of Section Six.

The meeting is to be held on the 21st day of August, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at the following place: Easton Community Center, Easton, Minnesota.

This statement shall be filed in the town clerk's office. After the statement is filed, the clerk shall record this statement of need and provide ten days' published notice of the time, place, and purpose of the meeting in a qualified newspaper having general circulation in the town.

If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representatives will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representatives or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
