REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

CITY OF BLUE EARTH

RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING

The City of Blue Earth is requesting proposals for collection, transportation and processing of residential recycling within the City. RFP packet is available to be picked up at City Hall and also online at becity.org. Prices and terms of the proposal as stated must be valid for the length of any resulting contract

The current recycling collection goals should be considered and include: efficiency in the collection methods, reliable level of service, and meeting the City ordinance of a maximum of three ton/axle requirements on light traffic roads. A successful submittal is recommended to include suggestions to what the respondent has to offer in regards to street damage mitigation.

Please refer all questions to City Hall at (507) 526-7336. Proposals must be received at City Hall, 125 W. 6th Street, PO Box 38, Blue Earth, MN. 56013. Proposals must be received no later than 5:00 PM August 25th, 2017 to receive consideration.

Notice is hereby given that the Winnebago Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for the purposes of issuing a conditional use permit to Sean and Shanna Meyer, owner of a property located at 326 1st Ave NW.; Wallace Addition of Winnebago, Block 2, lots 11 and 12.
